JAR Systems promoted the new Elevate Air USB-C Open Charging Cart. Powered by Quick-Sense USB-C PD Charging, devices automatically charge quickly and efficiently, up to 65W output per port. An AC adapter-free solution, Elevate Air saves time by removing cable management processes from your team’s workflow. The practical, open design provides easy access to devices and the ability to see that all devices are connected for charging with a glance.

LanSchool showcased LanSchool Air, its cloud-based classroom management solution that empowers educators to engage with students. It’s compatible with Mac, Windows, Chromebooks, and mixed-device environments. Integration is simple, updates are automatic, and it’s ready to scale with your school or district’s needs.

Communication Specialist John Karstetter from Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (CFBISD) discussed how districts can bridge the communications gap between school and home. In his 60-minute session, Karstetter discussed five common barriers that impact family engagement and share practical communications recommendations. Attendees left with best-practice methodologies for leveraging technology tools, such as the ParentSquare platform, to positively impact family engagement.

Promethean showcased its new ActivPanel 9 with ActivSync and the Symphony Classroom digital assistant by Merlyn Mind. Promethean’s latest ActivPanel is powered by the company’s patented ActivSync technology and responds to an evolving education environment. Promethean will also highlight Symphony Classroom with Merlyn, a complete education technology solution that includes an AI hub, software platform, and remote control – most importantly, it frees teachers from the front of the class so they can move around and interact with their students. 

Screencast-O-Matic promoted both Screencast-O-Matic and ScreenPal. Screencast-O-Matic’s integrated video creation and sharing solution gives educators like you everything you need in one place for instruction, engagement, assessment, and professional development, including: Quick, personalized video messages, created and shared directly in your LMS, email, or any browser-based application; easy creation tools for recording, annotating, and editing videos; video storyboards to streamline your workflow and facilitate collaboration; interactive video quizzing for feedback and assessment; advanced video analytics for actionable insights into student learning; and safe, secure, and private video management so you can back up, organize, and share your content with colleagues, students, and parent. ScreenPal lets users create quick, authentic video messages. Easily record videos from any text box or comment field in browser-based apps, then share. Less typing, fewer meetings, better communication.

SMART Technologies debuted the latest SMART interactive displays for education. This new release includes the new SMART Board® MX (V4) series, and the SMART Board GX (V2) series. These new displays join the SMART Board 6000S series as the only interactive displays that allow multiple users to freely write, erase, and gesture at the same time, across platforms and applications. 

Varsity Tutors demonstrated Varsity Tutors for Schools, an assigned tutoring solution that empowers classroom teachers to manage and schedule face-to-face personalized support from tutors facilitating individualized instruction and intervention when needed and extending teacher capacity and control.

VEX Robotics promoted VEX GO, an affordable construction system that teaches the fundamentals of STEM through fun, hands-on activities that help young students perceive coding and engineering in a fun and positive way.
