Communication Specialist John Karstetter from Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (CFBISD) discussed how districts can bridge the communications gap between school and home. In his 60-minute session, Karstetter discussed five common barriers that impact family engagement and share practical communications recommendations.
