I have been reading up on the subject and thinking about whether or not I should get this stuff called PRP therapy in Westchester county NY. There is a doctor there that does it and I am wondering if it is going to be a good idea for me and my knees. Of course I played both baseball and football at the small college which I attended, quite a good while back when I was young and innocent. At any rate that was how I got to go to college, although they never gave me a full ride. In fact my scholarship was contingent on my doing both sports, since they had the same coach at this little college. At any rate I had a bunch of little things happen to me and then in my senior year I completely tore up my left knee, all of the tendons and ligaments had some level of damage to them.
In theory this platelet rich plasma can help with all sorts of things. That includes my problems and even things like hair loss, which I happen to have a bit of myself. It is not really apparent how there is much of a down side from what I have been able to learn to this point. The stuff they are giving you are pretty much things that you already have in your blood. So it is obvious that they can give you as much of this as you want and it is hard to see what harm it can do to you. So I am only thinking about whether or not it is really going to do what they say that it will do. At any rate I am wondering if my insurance is going to pay the cost of it, that seems a long shot.
